The Islander ISL-34 is essentially the same as the Islander ISL-02. However, the 43mm case has a rich black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) finish. Thickness is 14mm and tip to tip it is a very wearable 46mm (i.e. looks big, but doesn’t wear big on your wrist). Note that the lug ends are drilled for easier bracelet to strap changes. The case back has a rendering of Long Island on it along with the Islander name, Island Watch and 200 meter water resistance.

Inside the case is an NH36, 24-jewel automatic movement with 21,600 vibrations per hour. This self-winding movement supports hand winding and hacks (seconds hand stops when you pull out the crown). Power reserve is about 41 hours fully wound. The NH36 also has both a day and date wheel viewed at 3:00 on the dial.

The black dial has SuperLuminova on the hands and hour makers and the Island Watch logo is luminous under 12:00. Note: The minute hand is a contrasting orange color and the seconds hand has an orange tip. The 120-click uni-directional bezel has a scratch-resistant black (diver marked) ceramic insert that is also treated with SuperLuminova for a maximum glow-in-the-dark experience when lights go out. It is quite bright and long lasting.

The black dial has enhanced visibility due to the use of an
anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal that also guards against
scratches. The
anti-reflective coating is on the underside of the sapphire and it
imparts a bluish hue at some viewing angles. (the dial is black.)

Lastly you get a matching DLC bracelet with solid links, solid end links and a dual push-button flip lock deployant clasp with three position micro-adjustment. For sizing the bracelet, you will find screws are used for removing bracelet links instead of pins.
