The spring drive movement combines the beauty and complexity of an ordinary mechanical movement but with none of the inaccuracy–the spring drive will be at least as accurate as a good quartz watch. It also has the only truly smooth seconds hand in the industry. Like all Grand Seiko spring drives, a power reserve subdial is used that lets you know how much energy is left in the mainspring before the watch dies.
